How can you adopt a pretty and fierce mindset that’ll sustain your inside-out beauty and fulfill your soul for a lifetime?
Pretty doesn’t have to be associated with that makeup-painted façade, hiding your true self. Nor does fierce have to be defined as aggressive and against society’s norms of what femininity or you are supposed to be like to fit in.
You Can Defy the Norm
Mindset is directly correlated with physical well-being. Your mental well-being cannot thrive without your physical well-being. Research suggests that among those who exercise, the number of poor mental health days dropped by more than 40 percent.
We all pass through those poor mental health days. Although research suggests that we struggle with our inadequate mental health approximately 3 days a month (i.e., 36 days a year), adopting a pretty and aggressive mindset to fight back our mental calamities and to move on to a better mental state has become a life necessity.
Replenish Yourself with Positivity
This is where your fierce self should replenish itself with positivity, with being in the moment. Adapting a habit of exercise and breathing at least 30 minutes a day, preferably in the morning.
Being fierce is making daily decisions to exercise, meditate and eat healthily. Love yourself, take care of your beauty routine, and appreciate your blessings. Being proactive in the decision to spread positive messages to people, to inspire them, and to show that you care.
With inaction, your monkey mind might wander and scatter your vulnerable emotions messing up your whole day. Yet, you are the only one capable of redefining yourself and transforming your defeats into something constructive that will sustain your beauty and fulfill your soul for a lifetime.
Be Proud About Your Story
Your pretty mind is your beautiful reservoir of great life lessons and goosebumps memories that many people need to relate to. You may be their life savior or the hero they need to connect to. Your story might be their story. Your experience might be the AHA moment that will guide them in their darkest moments of life.
Storytelling connects and binds communities together so they may learn from each other’s experiences in every way. Yet, we tend unintentionally to hide all that knowledge and experience. Fearing judgment or that perfect image of how others perceive us. We internalize our negative thoughts, overlook our triumphs, and magnify our downfalls.
But guess what? All that is buried inside our being, deep inside that secure- insecure self. That seemingly comfortable but uncomfortable home for our mind’s well-being.
While mindset quotes are everywhere, we are seldom fueled by them toward our purpose, towards our passion. As a result, we rarely appreciate our imperfect looks and experiences. Yet, those bad experiences serve as perfect and invaluable lessons for us every day.
Just Be You
You may be your worst critic, but if you look around, you’ll always find someone who looks up to you. Perhaps it was your child, your friend, your student, your neighbor, or some secret admirer.
Just be yourself, embody your self-love.Be unapologetic about who you are, and own it.
Be that fun, fearless soul, that pretty cool, fulfilled mind, that most beautiful version of yourself that shines effortlessly, inside out.
